Illuminated Manuscript Style Self-Portrait

This piece was created as a school project for an art history class! I had to create a self-portrait inspired by the style of an early medieval illuminated manuscript. There are two slightly different versions of this piece, hence the two photos I uploaded – the second one is the original version, which is only in 4×6 and 8×10 sizes. The newer one has only some minor changes meant to make it more “authentic” to the style hehe, such as less modern clothing and a quill instead of a pencil. I am replacing all sizes with the newer version as the old ones sell. This was drawn in early 2022.
